ABOUT THE PROGRAM IPM

Integrated pest management ( IPM) offers an effective way to deal with pest control. It integrates the various pest control methods-physical, biological, and chemical-traditional culture and aims to reduce pesticide use in order to minimize environmental pollution and adverse health effects and slow the development of pest resistance to pesticides.
Monitoring the level of pest population and pest resistance to pesticides is a very important component of IPM. This method also relies heavily on the protection and conservation of natural enemies of parasites, predators and diseases that regulate or balance of pest populations.
By encouraging natural enemies, the need for chemical insecticides can be reduced dramatically when compared with conventional spray program. In cases where chemical pesticides are not effective in solving pest problems due to development of increased resistance to poison pests, natural enemies provide solutions that are effective and safe for the environment.
In our implementation of IPM programs apply inter alia, polishes trees, spraying a natural material, the use of pesticides from plants and from animals ( microorganisms) , the recommendations of building infrastructure and client behavior everyday.
Important progress has been made in the development and introduction of beneficial natural enemies ( eg, cats, owls, predatory mites, predatory beetles, parasitic wasps) as an alternative to conventional chemical pesticides.
