Zeiss Duralyt riflescopes are the youngest series of riflescopes from the Zeiss Company and are designed for users who want affordable products with excellent Zeiss quality. The housing is made from a special modern alloy to ensure low weight and robust qualities at the same time. The reticle is seated in the second focal plane and its does not change in size when magnifying. It is therefore also very useful for target practice shooting since the reticle does not cover much of the target. Different versions in the series will be suitable for different hunting or shooting regimes: those who like to hunt on driven or running game and those who wait on their game. Zeiss Duralyt riflescopes have adjustable reticle illumination and can be used for hunting in the dark when the illumination intensity has to be set on minimal and for hunting on driven or running game, when the dot has to be fully illuminated and easy to spot even at strong light. The Zeiss Duralyt riflescopes are filled with dry nitrogen to prevent dew accumulation at low temperatures.
